Silvia Koistinen is a visual artist currently based between Clare and Belfast. Her practice takes shape as physical installations of objects and light, seeking to create spaces in which objects can be witnessed as entities in and of themselves. The lens plays a vital role in the process of developing works, functioning as a third eye. Works are presented in their physical form as opposed to digital representations as central to her practice lies the experiential encounter of objects and their inherent phenomena.
