Michaela Nash

Michaela Nash (b.1997, Belfast) is an artist/arts writer. Her writing spans experimental art writing; incorporating prose, poetry and essay into hybrid texts that add an ekphrastic layer to an artwork or exhibition. Recent commissions include ‘Methods for Root Propagation’ with Yarli Allison for Sam’s Eden, Catalyst Arts Belfast, ‘Limits of My Language’ for Kilkenny Arts Center, and ‘The Window Project’ for CCA Derry. Her art-making has explored belonging and place, mixed identity and geology, foreign/native plant species through photography, sculpture and video installation.
